WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR SEASON OF PREPARATION?

Before Esther ever wore a crown, there was a process.

Twelve months of preparation. New surroundings. Unfamiliar expectations. People assigned to help her navigate an environment she had never experienced before. Yet Esther demonstrated something that would become essential to her future: she knew how to receive guidance without losing herself.

When it was finally her turn to appear before the king, Esther could have requested anything she wanted. Instead, she trusted Hegai’s knowledge of the palace and followed his recommendation.

That decision speaks volumes.

Sometimes advancement is not about proving how much you know. It is recognizing who God has strategically placed around you and having enough discernment to listen.

Esther did not have to force attention, compete for recognition, or manufacture an advantage. Scripture tells us that she gained favor with those who encountered her.

Perhaps some of our greatest preparation happens quietly—when no one is applauding, when the outcome is uncertain, and when God is developing qualities we will need later.
