FROM PRESSURE TO POSITION: WHEN FAVOR SPEAKS

Esther’s journey reminds us that pressure does not have the final word over our lives. A young orphaned Jewish woman was suddenly thrust into circumstances she did not choose, yet God was already positioning her for what she could not yet see.
Esther 2:9 tells us that Esther pleased Hegai and obtained favor from him. Favor began speaking for her before she ever stood before the king. She received special beauty preparations, provisions, seven chosen attendants, and the best place in the harem.
What looked like pressure was actually part of her positioning.
There are seasons when God allows us to enter unfamiliar, uncomfortable, and even intimidating places—not to destroy us, but to prepare us for an assignment greater than ourselves.
